Reflection on relaxation exercise

I have participated in a few of these types of activities over the years. I do find them completely relaxing and something that more people should enjoy. The autogenic training technique is a miracle, the ability to make one's body relax, just by thinking it. I will definitely try and utilize this practice throughout my day. Similar techniques are used in Yoga, using the mind and stretching to relax the body. I try and get to one class per week.

  1. Yes you should Brittany, I found yoga imperative to help calm my mind and relieve the daily stresses that tend to take over our bodies. Even just ten minutes of stretching by yourself a day can make a whole of a difference. Great post Xjess

  2. Brittany - You make a GREAT point about the autogenic training...definitely something to be learned/practiced. Question for you...as you practice yoga and relax the body - does the movement also provide the needed stillness of mind?

  3. Brittany I think relaxing technique is great and calming. It give you the opportunity to unwind from a hectic day. On Tuesday is a very hard day for me to unwind because I am trying to get my homework complete and sometime I work late, and that is what I did today.
